Application for [Internship] placement
Dear Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development,
I am Muhimbise Cylia , a holder of a Bachelor's degree in Ethics and Development Studies of Uganda Martyrs University.I have good computer working knowledge and skills (Microsoft Packages and Internet), as well as excellent report writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
During my University study breaks, I worked with Uganda Cooperative Alliance (UCA, 2014) and Centenary Bank (2015) under the women department and the operations department respectively. I also participated in community outreach programmes during my study at the University. This experience allowed me to learn how to organize and to work with teams to achieve results.
I also gained skills in communication and report writing. These experiences make me a suitable candidate for this position, and I am really keen to further develop my professional skills in these areas. I am particularly excited because of the exposure this internship will give me especially working with communities, vulnerable children and their families. I will appreciate an opportunity to discuss in person interest in, and suitability for the role of the Intern.
