Brick materials used in government sanctioned construction projects

Jordan DSilva made this Access to Information request to Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development

The request was partially successful.

From: Jordan DSilva

Dear Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development,

I am a representative for the Sisters of the Sacred Heart in Northern Uganda.

We have recently acquired a hydraform brick making machine which is located in Atiak. We are doing research to see who we could sell these bricks to and we believe based on the price and increased quality of these bricks, government projects would be a prime target market.

If you would be kind enough to send me the info on what kind of bricks are currently being used by government sanctioned projects and your openness to hydraform bricks, it would be greatly appreciated.

Yours faithfully,

Jordan Dsilva

Dear Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development,

I hope to hear back from you quickly about what materials you use for your structures, how you hire our contractors and how vendors can get government contracts as well as what structures you are building in Northern Uganda.

Yours faithfully,

Jordan DSilva
