Partnership and secondment of primary teachers

Kakinda Denis made this Access to Information request to Ministry of Education and Sports

The request was partially successful.

From: Kakinda Denis

Dear Ministry of Education and Sports,
I understand that the need to educate the children of the nation is a general concern, therefore, I would like to know about the possibility of a partnership between primary schools and the government without making the school a UPE school.

There was (or still may be existing) secondment of teachers in chosen schools, I would like to be informed about the criteria of getting this.

Yours faithfully,

Kakinda Denis

Ministry of Education and Sports

Thank you Denis for this inquiry.
First, the possibility of a partnership between primary schools and the
government may not be possible following the policy to phase out public
private partnerships (PPP's).
I did not quite understand your second question.
Kindly clarify what you mean by secondment of teachers in chosen schools.
Regards,
Patrick.

Dear Patrick Muinda,
Thank you for your response, your response is seemingly covering both questions.
The second question was about some policy the government had in which it could pay teachers in private schools in a move to improve on service delivery.

Yours sincerely,

Kakinda Denis
