Request for soft and or hard copies of both the UPDF Act and Doctrine.

AK. Blaise made this Access to Information request to Ministry of Defence / Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF)

The request was successful.

From: AK. Blaise

Dear Ministry of Defence / Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF),
I am of the idea and requesting that officers and militants be provided with copies of the UPDF Act and Doctrine, most especially the latter; fully reading and understanding of the latter will aid the soldiers to respect and abide by the former.
The doctrine will help to entrench into the soldiers the values, objectives and mission of the UPDF, it'll further instill confidence discipline and pride in the militants.

Yours in service,
AKT. Blaise

Thank you AK. Blaise. The ministry and UPDF has tried to avail all this
information in appropriate places. We shall always endevour to ensure the
our Chieftancy of Legal services reach out to encourage the officers and
men to read. As you may know it stems from the bad reading culture the
country faces. Thank you for your idea.
