Dear Ministry of Foreign Affairs,

I am a 22 year old student of law at Makerere University proceeding to my final year and as part of my academic program, internship is one of the prerequisites stipulated to complete the course and hence this letter is an expression of my interest to achieve this under your establishment under the Department of International Law.

As a third year student of law, I have mostly learnt about legal concepts from a theoretical perspective through lecture room engagements, online searches and the like. This has left an insatiable hunger in me to learn and experience more with hands on training such as interactions in places where I could get more acquainted with the necessary procedures that ensure good governance for I believe this would be an asset so great not only for my professional ventures but it would also equip me to serve my country better upon completion of my studies. This opportunity would also enable me reconcile the International Law principles I have grasped in class with what goes on in practice.

I am highly driven, willing to learn, hardworking, trained to deliver under pressure, I bear excellent interpersonal skills.

I would love for my request to reach your positive consideration.

Yours faithfully,
Samalie Liz Nakasiga
