Re:clarification for my research placement at Nafirri

Waiting for an internal review by Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) of their handling of this request.

Dear Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF),

I am Anwoku Thomas, a chemical engineer by profession.

I applied for a research placement at Nafirri in March 2019. I never got any reply, not one at all. And on several occasions I've called to find out the progress of my application but all in vain.

I was initially directed to go there by the director of fisheries resources entebbe.
Could you please advice me what should I do and how should I do it to achieve my target of joining NaFiRRI.

Yours faithfully,
Anwoku Thomas

Dear Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF),

Dear Connie
Am well. You asked me to rewrite to you my kind request.
I am Anwoku Thomas, a chemical engineer by profession.

I applied for a research placement at Nafirri in March 2019. I never got any reply, not one at all. And on several occasions I've called to find out the progress of my application but all in vain.

I was initially directed to go there by the director of fisheries resources entebbe, Dr. Rukunya Edward.
Could you please advice me what should I do and how should I do it to achieve my target of joining NaFiRRI.

Dear Thomas,
Sorry for all that you have been going through.NAFIRRI is the Research
component of NARO on Forestry based in Jinja.
Why don't you go over NAFIRRI, JINJA, the Director's office and have a
discussion with him, I believe that will help solve this issue..
Thanks you for showing interest to work with the ministry.

Dear Connie,

Thanks alot for your time. I've done all you are telling me to do. Infact when I personally met the director in the March of 2019, he also directed me to the Head of the limnology department, who back then assured me, hopefully to 're-write' an application letter including all my necessary qualifications and I will be granted my desire, still back then. I did re-write my application and included all the necessary requirements. Nothing ever yielded.

Madam Connie, I've travelled to NaFIRRI several times following up my application but in plain vain. When I recontacted the director he "ordered" me to stop disturbing him.

Going to NaFIRRI is not cheap for some of us, it is painful that there's alot of hope given when one is there but in the end you die out with your hope.
IT overwhelmingly defeats understanding!

What do u advice me to do now??
I will be grateful to receive your feedback.

Sincerely,
Anwoku Thomas

Sorry about that,  but why not try elsewhere,  maybe there's no vacancy
there and you know COVID 19 also affected people and institutions in
different ways.
Just remember,  Never give up in life, big one door closes another will
open elsewhere! Please try also somewhere else and good luck

Dear Connie,
Thanks 4 your kind feedback!
Its the same thing every where in public service I've been to.

Its like u hv a specific criterion u follow to favor certain people regardless of qualification.
We move up & down, everywhere in things we would be actively engaged in 4 the betterment of our country.
If things are out of control u should let us know.

Yours sincerely,
Anwoku Thomas
