Dear Ministry of Defence / Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF),
I kindly write to your office requesting you to allow me join (UPDF). Am Ugandan by nationality aged 21years living in Kabarole District. I completed O'level and I don't have the national indentification card now but am registered with NIRA and hopping to receive my ID card in May 2nd 2022. The reason why I want to join UPDF is that I want to serve my Country Ugandan.
I will be great full if my request is put under your faithful consideration. Thank You.

Dear Latif, the process of joining UPDF is through a national general
recruitment exercise based on quota system. Therefore individuals can't
join the UPDF. There is however a likely good of recruitment this year.
