Request to pay all South Sudan Traders.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Office of the Prime Minister (OPM),

I am very disappointed by your office and the whole government at large . For over 10 years now , We have been requesting you to compensate those traders that lost their goods in South Sudan after you and the South Sudan government made an agreement that you would do exactly that . I am here wondering why it is only those from Western Uganda being paid like Aponye , Afrokai and others . Are traders from other regions not human beings? As I jolt this , these traders are sleeping under church verandas asif they are not human beings . I want you to stop being corrupt, tribalistic , bigots , Partial and treat all of us well. We are all human beings and deserve to be treated as such regardless of where one comes from . No one chooses the area from which they want to be born . I want you to understand that humans must be treated with dignity and respect and you should do that . These people’s children have dropped out of school and are starving . What do you as a ministry has to say about this ?

Yours faithfully,

Lakot Kevin Karlo

It's sad how the south sudan war of 2013 and 2016 affected businesses. Most business owners lost their properties to bank loans and it's even hard for them to support their families.
The people who have the right documents are being left. Some even have bounced Cheques and they have never received a single penny from Government yet Parliament approved the additional list of 23 traders to be cleared.
Unfortunately it's true that Ministry of Finance is paying a specific tribe and class of People. The segregation involved in this payment is appalling.
