Dear Uganda Revenue Authority (URA),
I wish to return home after a long stay in the Uk but would like to return with most of my personal effect including a Kia Sportage 2012 and person effects including television cookers, fridge and and a few. Please advise on taxes and how much I’m looking at if possible and any exemptions if any.

Yours faithfully,
Ray Lubowa

Dear Raymond,
Kindly note that all your luggage including your KIA Sportage 2012 is tax exempt as long as you can prove (i.e. you have all its documentation in your names) and you have been with it for more than 12 months.
Thank you
