Masab Jeremiah made this Access to Information request to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Civil Aviation Authority (CAA),
I am interested in Information Technology opportunities that may be available to volunteer at CAA. As an in graduate in software engineer from Makerere University, I have experience working with several information technologies and would be thrilled to continue to do so in a volunteer capacity.

I have volunteered before as a trainer at the Africa Code Week, where I enjoyed being able to instill digital literacy and coding skills in the young generation. I have also participated in Weather Information Management in East Africa Project (WIMEA) At Makerere University where I worked on the WIMEA project as a software developer. I did the programming of the weather sensor motes, fault finding, and installation of the wireless sensor network and also provided user requirements analysis, design, testing and programming support for enhancement of Web application accessed by Uganda National Meteorological Authority (UNMA) staff.

If CAA needs a volunteer, I would be thrilled to have the opportunity to assist. My schedule is flexible, and I would be available to volunteer at your convenience.
Am eager to learn more about your mission, successes, while providing optimum digital solutions to challenges that might be encountered when ensuring safety and security of air transport, with respect to the movement of passengers and goods. I would be grateful for the opportunity to work with you in the near future.

Thank you for your consideration.

Yours faithfully,
Masab Jeremiah
